It’s great to see more park.IO users making a lot of money on domain flips. Popular domain investor and blogger Morgan Linton bought the domain yummy.io on park.IO for $99 a few months ago, and just sold it on Afternic for $1,698. That’s a cool 15x return on investment in less than six-months!
Also, user dkenzik bought a domain in a park.io auction for $195 a few months ago and just sold it privately for $2,500. We also noticed a domain that sold on Flippa for $1,500 that was purchased on park.io for $99, and we are seeing a lot of inquiries coming in to domains that are parked on park.io, and then transfers going out, so we know that other users are making money, too.
It’s not always easy to know which ones will sell, but the great thing about domains on park.io is that they were once registered, so you know that there is at least some demand for these names. Also, often times you can grab a domain with a lot of existing traffic, which is valuable.
