nameserver.io - easy nameserver redirects

Over the weekend we launched nameserver.io - a service to easily redirect domains in bulk simply by setting the nameservers. It basically cuts out the middle man so that you don’t need a DNS provider, and you can save a lot of time that you would otherwise need to set up thousands of individual redirects.

nameserver.io

For example, if you have thousands of domains and you want to redirect them to parking pages on, for example, Afternic, you would have to set up thousands of individual redirects to https://www.afternic.com/domain/park.io, https://www.afternic.com/domain/file.io, etc.. - one for each domain, and it would take days to do this.

Using nameserver.io you can do it in minutes, by simply bulk changing the nameservers to:

NB2HI4DTHIXS653XO4XGCZTUMVZG42.LDFZRW63JPMRXW2YLJNYXXW62EJ5GU.CSKOPV6Q.1.NAMESERVER.IO
NB2HI4DTHIXS653XO4XGCZTUMVZG42.LDFZRW63JPMRXW2YLJNYXXW62EJ5GU.CSKOPV6Q.2.NAMESERVER.IO

A few people have asked me if we knew of a service that did this, and we didn’t. And I have also felt the need for something like this, so I just decided to make it. It was fun because of the base32-encoding DNS hack :)

Hopefully others will find it useful! Let us know if you have any questions: support@park.io.
