The company formerly known as APX Labs, makers of the Skylight smart glasses development platform, has rebranded from a .com domain (apx-labs.com) to a .io domain (upskill.io). As of way back in 2015 they had raised $29 million. With tens of millions of dollars in the bank, and major clients such as GE, Boeing, and Johnson & Johnson, they decide to switch from a .com to a .io. And the .com even appears to be for sale.
“We couldn’t be happier with the rebrand.”
This is a good sign for .io domain investors.
